I'm formally from Honolulu and I wanted to retire to the Big Island. My loan officer was stationed in Guam which is one day ahead of Hawaii. The loan's processor/underwriter was in Phoenix, Arizona. During negotiations with the sellers and their agent, my agents (Lee and Seth) had a prior commitment helping with a move on the mainland and had to be off island. But as busy as they were, they always got back to me in a timely matter. The different time zones made it difficult and at times, daunting. Lee's assurances kept me sane and Seth's knowledge in contract details and calculating figures was on point. Eventually they found an alternate lending with better terms and I got the house I wanted at a great location that meets all my needs. Together they make a great team.
